| Butcher Block --- Where and How.... You pick up or We Can Do It All For You! Once you have chosen a beef, you can pick it up or we can deliver it to the butcher on your behalf. The beef is on the hoof until processed by the butcher. In this time of uncertain meats entering the food chain, it is refreshing to have a local member of our community to process our beef. The following questionnaire is all you need to be able to answer, and we can take your directions over the phone. We can arrange your beef processing-- even pick it up and deliver it to you, if you would prefer. It is quite common for neighbors and families to share a beef if it is too much meat for one family to store. We will assist you with the split if you need assistance with that as well. In other words, all you need is to call us to arrange your purchase and in a few weeks, you will have a freezer full of organic, grass fed, local, free range beef that has been cut, packaged and frozen to your specifications for a fraction of what generic grocery store beef would cost. 1) How many steaks do you want in a package? ___________ 2) How thick do you want your steaks? 3/4 inch is industry standard. T-Bones (Tenderloin, Loin)____ Rib Steaks (Rib Eyes, Prime Rib)____, Sirloin Steaks. 3) How big do you want your roasts? 3-4lbs serves a family of four. 2-3lbs is pretty small, 4-5lbs is pretty large. __________Chuck, Tip and Rolled Roasts. Chuck and Tip Roasts can be boned and cut into steaks, if desired. 4) If you want your beef round to be cubed, indicate the size of cut (i.e. 1/2", 1/4")______ 5) Hamburger. Package standard is 1 and 1/2 lbs. You can specify larger, if desired. 6) Short-ribs _____________ 7) Stew Meat (From Trim that goes into hamburger) _________ 8) Soup Bones______________ Your beef will be cleanly and humanely processed and packaged for your family kitchen. You will be contacted when your order is ready. |
